so, i stumbled across njoo's contest journal, and what do you know. steampunk! i knew i had to create a piece for it, the vision of that old cityscape with the smell of clouds and steams just competes me. so here it is folks.. steampunk fairytale. hope it's steamy enough for you..

    Thanks!

oh.. forgot to mention, textures used from cgtexture.com

  3. "Dawn of the Round Table"

    Photoshop CS3 around 14 hours

Another space theme, inspired by EON. I feel like i spent more time looking at the piece than painting it, went back and forth with a lot of the elements in this picture. There were also quite a few direction and lighting changes through the process. the way how i started this piece limited my options, so i struggled to push this piece further. I'd say I'm ok with the result, and feel like i need to learn another approach for starting images.

thank you, and i hope you like this one

  6. "Shanoa"

    Photoshop CS3 around 14 hours

    Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

A fan art of the new Castlevania game, the new female lead is absolutely hot, and i almost creamed myself watching the new trailer. couldn't resist but to do a fan art of her. ha.

this is loosely based on the new Castlevania official art
    style.

i hope you like this one, and the game as well! you owe yourself that much.

*Castlevania and Shanoa are properties of KONAMI.

    Gunslinger

    Photoshop cs3 1 hour

a spontaneous character speedpainting. went with a fast and sketchy technique. the outcome is quite unfinished.

thinking of doing more in this style, but i'm exploring more possibilities to take this further. and eliminate the unfinished look to it. will update this post when a more presentable solution is available.
